We will be creating the "Chamber of Love" for him. Basically, we lock him in a room, and have a video camera set up. All you need to do is click on one of the options, and give Casper what he so deserves - a ton of LOVIN'!

You will be able to press a number to provide the follwing:

We don't know (and may never know) what was causing Casper's anemia, but the scare prompted me to begin feeding him a home cooked diet (got from the vet), juuuuust in case. He is back to his old wonderful self again!

The Doodle is Feeling Better Today

Casper was acting like his usual self all day today. Running, playing, and just normal doodle-behavior in general. No more stinky breath either, and his gums are looking less red. So even if we have other issues, at least he is feeling better. I'm staying guardedly optimistic, and anxiously awaiting Monday morning when we can do more blood work.

Casper Approves Good Vibes, Disapproves of Veterinarian

This week Casper was not acting like his normal self. He was lethargic and had decreased appetite. He also had a sudden bout of very bad breath for about two days, as well as red gums and although it seems he wants to, he won't chew the toys and treats he normally loves.
We took him to the vet yesterday (July 3) to check it out. Blood tests done since then have shown that he is slightly anemic, and not producing new red blood cells, which can mean several things - all of them scary to me. We are going back on Monday to do another blood test to see the status, and then get a referral for a specialist who may do a bone marrow test to find out more.
The vet thinks the gums and bad breath (which has improves) are unrelated, and has put Casper on antibiotics as a precautionary measure in case there's an infection. The anemia is the more important issue now.
He is at home resting this weekend.

Jack is close to the camera, so he seems bigger than me, but it is only an illusion! I could crush him at any time, but I wouldn't ever - because he is my favorite friend in the whole wide world. He is still pretty tough though, and I love him! Yes, you can envy our love. And dig my hairdo.

They say "The journey of a thousand miles starts with one step." I say "Why go a gazillion miles when you can luxuriate on satin pillows all day!" But that's me. Enough wisdom for now - let's get down to business. Here's how you make submissions for my approval:

Step one: Figure out what's missing or lacking in your life
Step two: Decide what actions you will take, or what you will need to obtain to make your life happier! Post it as a comment on this site.
Step three: Let me decide if this action or thing will make you happy or not. I am all knowing! I will post my reply (in my own time frame, thank you).

Once I have ruled, you may go forth unto the world knowing that the decisions I approve of all lead to one thing - perfect happiness.

Here's some examples:

Submission: Oh Casper the Super-Ultra-Wise, should I watch the Oprah Makeover Extravaganza next week, even though I have to sneak out to the break room during work hours to do it?
Reply: Casper knows that Oprah has a golden light that shoots forth from every orifice, and as such, every breath she expels and every utterance she peeps should be sought after and followed! CASPER APPROVES of watching Oprah!Casper also suggests you go out and get a damn Tivo.

Are you feeling lost and in need of direction? Do you long for more wisdom and guidance in your life? Well search no more! Gaining Casper's approval for anything important in this world will bring you the happiness and fulfillment you desire. Earning official approval from this cute and ultra-wise little dog is yet another step in the journey towards living - as Oprah might say - "The Best Life EVER"!

Casper (A.K.A. "Casper Doodle") has opened up his little heart, and will take time from his busy schedule to spread his wisdom, and consider whether or not your submissions are worthy of his approval. He can make judgments on matters of the heart, friends, finances, ideas, and anything else you wish to submit. But please, keep it clean- as he does NOT approve of low-brow things!

Submissions will be reviewed from time to time within this blog - and Casper will let you know whether or not your submission has earned his coveted seal of approval. If your submission is approved, for a nominal fee, you can send away for his official "Doodle Approved" sticker.
